Our Story
About us
We are a youth-led nonprofit driven by the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and build a brighter future. We work to remove the barriers that prevent children from accessing education. Jacaranda Tree Organization provides essential resources, that improve learning environments, and support communities where the need is greatest.
This project began with a simple belief: a child’s future should never be limited by the circumstances they were born into. Seeing how barriers like a lack of school supplies, shoes, menstrual products, accessible facilities, and appropriate learning environments can make education difficult inspired us to take action. We are passionate about creating real, lasting change and giving children the support they need to feel valued, included, and capable of achieving their dreams.
Our Programs
Infrastructure Delopment
We will improve infrastructure that currently inhibits learning. Many students who rely on wheelchairs do not have safe, accessible ways to navigate their school. We are working to create accessible pathways and facilities that allow every student to move freely, participate fully, and learn with dignity.
Community Awareness
We will increase community awareness amongst families and educators through workshops to create a more inclusive, safe and supportive environments. We strive to inform them on ways to influence their children's learning for the better.
Assistive Technology
We integrate advanced assistive tools and adaptive devices to ensure every student has equal access to opportunities.Â
